Stretching my heart as you walk away from me
Already wrapped around your fingers
Everywhere you go I follow
Hurting me with steps in the opposite direction
As you finally let go of those ties
With pain my body will be marked
And what will be left of us
When pieces of me will be shattered
On the ground broken
Too prideful you were
To pick them up
Until forever, they were misplaced
Within the love we let slip threw our silence
