Her sight alone heals his wound
Her thought transforms his day
Her presence gladdens his heart
But does she feel the same?

Her beauty conspicuous in his sky
Winking at his zealous face
In her a missing rib is found
But does she feel the same?

He can rent the moon for just a date
And wrap up the world to get a kiss
And walk through fire to please her heart
A silent prisoner not known to the jailer

Her eyes a reason to keep breathing
Those eyes that lull his rage too quick
Just a chance and his world is brightened
But his mouth too dumb to spill the words
