Just a quick little morning breakfast poem for your reading pleasure...

Kitty on my lap
My list a mile long
Coffee-cookie breakfast
And in my heart, a song.

It sings of what's to come
It sings of what has passed
It sings of what's inside,
Knowing none of it will last.
