Reizenstein
Reizenstein
By Gregory Galanter
The Nabisco plant
had a smell to it,
So did Lucas’s cigarette.
Rough concrete walls
shouldn’t be punched,
Neither should my classmates.
I can’t believe
I lost a rap battle
To a plagiarist.
Had my first girlfriend and
then my second;
I treated them badly.
Our long yellow buses
told us who our friends were,
And we listened.
Jack
and maybe some others and maybe
I never made it out.
