Heart of the Blizzard- Original Poetry- The U.S.S. MinnowPROSE!
Sometimes in the blizzard about here,
Tough to know which way to go.
Snowblind.
I got my ski's I got my pack.
Got that tent strapped on my back.
But the real deals hidden inside.
A bladed edge, boots to stride.
Absolute.
Across that ice, so free, so clear.
Flowing with motion I hold so dear.
Look at me dance, this solitary stance.
Spinning around yet going nowhere,
Perfection.
Hearing the crack from far below.
Sounds like so many murderous bellows.
Thunder splitting the sky beneath you.
That smooth glass helping you slide, swallowing whole.
Yield.

I kinda like anything to do with the snow, I guess you yearn for that which you do not have. (cold weather being somewhat rare in australia).
