Blinding Future's Past- Original Poetry from the Helm- The U.S.S. MinnowPROSE!
Sitting in that morning's dull glow.
I cannot see it with these eyes.
But I can feel it across my sides.
Gloomy here in the tent, reading for days on end.
People paying worthless coins for my sight to lend.
Staring into the future, asking the question.
Where will I be tomorrow?
The path of the truthsayer is not an easy one.
Sometimes one must allow the mind to run.
Down the threads and tapestry.
Into the dark web that ties you and me.
I was given this gift this burden this sight.
But for anything I would give it away.
Just to open these blasted orbs once more.
Take away the bias of the future.
I beg you.
