last teardrop of wine left
in her glass, kissed my forehead,
and wish a slight smile,
buried her cheek into the pillow
and shut her tired eyes.
I just layed there, perfectly happy,
watching her sleep, picking every
petal of her from my mind and
letting them fall through me
just to feel the touch of
beauty on my brittle
bones.
