Poem: Lake Michigan
Lake Michigan
Line beyond sight
This lazy lake
Lays me down
Lays my grave
To rest and die
What is it about
This mirror blue
Occasionally
Disheveling the sky?
Just above lakes
The pearl white blue
Fades into
Washed navy blue
With smudged clouds
And sighs
I am the reflection
Tried and true
Reclining
In front of you
We both watch
This feast before our eyes
