POEM: A PLACE FOR ME
Is there a place
Where all I have forgotten
Lies silently
Like a stone
Waiting for the frost
So the water will break
From granite into an icy throne?
Is there a place
Or universe where
My worst is not judged
Etched into ether
A sin cut believer
In a portrait of shadow?
Is there a place
Where my being discovers
How to rise etched and known
Engraved in the earth
Among the births
Of mortals finding their home?
