Taking Back Control

They’re taking back control of all our laws,
they’re doing the job regardless of expense,
they shifted our ‘remains’ with talk of massive gains
for hospitals and schools and residents.

But when the Tories get control of what was yours
they’ll knock it down, surround it with a fence –
the thing’s a vacant plot, they’ll sell the bloody lot
to foreign states that may still have some sense.

You will of course experience some disruption
and find it very hard to find a nurse,
but that’s a price agreed for feeling rather freed
to be much better off (or maybe worse).

They’re improving the image of destruction
they’re making it much better than it was.
They never had a plan, they haven’t got a clue,
but know what’s good for them will do for you.
