A fish
A fish once tried
to swim in the air.
His life had been free
and he had no care.
Then he left the sea
that oppressed his pride
and cried "how swell
to be free at last".
But down he fell.
The moon came past
and the next high tide
reclaimed his bones.
The sea still moans.
