It’s God
It’s Renewed Purpose
No!

It’s wobbly thumbs
Pressing on the leaking algorithm

That gets the calls to close for some agents,
The other brethren list, one-legged, at the high candy dish.

Here’s to the lopsided sales leaders
These few prayerful, beaming, dedicated ladies and gents.

Here’s to their scotch-taped nostrums and tropes and relics on desks,

And to the rest of us agents, sweating, talking to non-comps
Paying late the rent, trying to stay afloat.
