I Am that

I Am.
I Am That.
I Am This.
I am this, I am that,
It’s just tit for tat
How our state and our stats
Are relying on facts
Derived from stacks
Of unchecked brats
Who insist that their track
Records are intact.

But we’ve seen before
Wherein lies the flaw
Of this outdated bore
Bequeathed from days of yore
For control using laws.
And the cause
of this sick result is
Greed.

Greed indeed
The sickest seed
Of evil deeds
The deadliest virus we’ve ever seen
Since it poisons
Not body but mind,
And corrupts the very values
That safeguard our lives.

These values are no option,
They are crucial for survival.
For without them, none can live
In harmony with nature's cycles.
All creatures, great and small,
Must abide by these sacred laws,
Cooperate with each other,as it has ever been.
For us to all live, together on God's great green.
