And then, the night was dark,
And shadows as dark as fright
They tempt my soul with awesome delight,

And my legs ran with great stride,
As if my heart will fail to beat,
I ran with great disbelieving
Pushing my weight with speed
The body I fear may slow my speed.

The demons hunt me through the night,
With Fearsome might I ran through the night,
Shrieking howls resound behind my ears,
But cease they won't but take relish.

Incite my soul with unshakable fear,
But I thought after dark it's dawn,
Then my soul began to heal and my feet began to walk,

The chilled voices I fear had gone,🎈🎈
Oh light I see and fear Is gone to sleep,
And then my faith restored,
For light has come to keep
My life my fear is still my own,
Because the light has brought reprieve.
