It's an insult because we don't have to underestimate your abilities
A lot of people have confused your worth due to your sexuality
You just want an opportunity to show your worth as you fight for equality
You get judged more than the men, it's crazy, such insanity
But like a seed you always germinate, I admire your mentality
A lot is expected of you and you joke with nothing, even spirituality
It has been embedded in your person, it's your personality
There would always be those who would judge you harshly
Those who would brush you over because you are a woman
Your power is in your ability and on your knees when you pray
Just like the breaking of the dawn, you break forth as the day
You have the voice of a lion and cannot be tamed
Your strength supersede everyone else and you are more than a sexual image
You are a solution provider, a goal-getter and you adapt to anything
You are many things than words can ever describe
This is one of the many reasons you will always stay relevant
You are a gift to humanity and deserved to be celebrated every month of the year
You are God's gift to men and humanity
You make sense out of madness when men's sanity hangs by a thread
That voice of reason, that's what you are...more than you can ever know
Happy International Women's Day to every woman in the world and to that wonderful and amazing young girl with so much potential. I want you to know that you are loved, respected and appreciated. Thank you for shining your influence in the world and for being the sunshine in our darkened world.
