Two Sides (An Original Poem)

Two Sides

Life is a long, winding road.
There are wrong turns,
that lead you to dead ends,
And there are right turns,
that lead you to satisfaction.

There are people that
you meet along the road,
Some will try to sway you,
And try to get you in the wrong direction.

Others will stick with you,
Comfort you,
Stick up for you,
And help you reach your destination.

I have met both types on my journey.
I feel down the wrong path,
But moved backwards and kept
going in the correct way.

Some people I thoughts were
my friends have been,
Liars,
Back stabbers, Two faced
and fakers.

I just walk on past them,
And keep moving on.
I will be strong.
I will not be swayed.
I will be invincible.
You better believe it.
