Broken
Sometimes
You just want
Your heart to drift away
And spare you
Of the pain
Sometimes
You feel life like
Is a long dark hall
You'll never escape
You'll just
keep walking
Once in a while
There is lift in your mood
The air around you
Brings you up
Only to crash you down
Harder
Than if you fell
From your feet
But you try
to keep walking
Even though
You feel as though
Your life
Is falling apart
Then
there comes that day
When you feel
Like you can't go on in this world
Like your mortal life
Is going nowhere
Your feel broken
Like your mind and soul
Have been scattered
To the wind
Maybe
A new plane of existence
Would be easier
The answer is no
Life up your head
Put away the sometimes
The once in a while
for those moments when
You felt
In one piece
Follow your dreams
Follow the hope
The love
The happiness
You will have a purpose
You will live
You will be fixed
