TIME

Have mercy on time, don’t kill her
For she hold your future in her right hand
Time precious is royal and loyal
She offers your nakedness second per second
Each of her second when shunned is taken away.
Yet she shamelessly offers another second
Yet she takes her second and offers another second

The youths who will fail to respect her
And youths who will respect her
Were all offered 86400 second chances
Yet she repeats same offer the next day

What makes the difference is how each cherished her
Do not loiter during the day time of your life
Neither allow the night to come upon you unprepared
Hours misspent are wasted
Time like life can never be recalled
Spilled water never returns to the cup

Spend the second and the minute time gives you wisely
Do all you must to succeed here now
Do not defer till more convenient time

How to identify the wise youth is the one who respects her well
The present time is the raw material out of which we make whatever we will
A lost ‘gram of gold’ may be found but a lost ‘second of time’ is gone forever
If time is not favourable to you, render yourself favourable to her
Short as time is, we make it shorter by careless waste of time
