TREES ARE FALLING DOWN
Hello Steemians,
Trees are falling down
We know, for we are the witness
At first hand
First we review a poem...
By Joyce Kilmer
A Tree
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the Earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day
And lifts her arms to pray;
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of Robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has
lain
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a Tree.
I can still vividly remember this poem when I was in grade 6 at Mambaling Elementary School, I got a perfect score for fill in the blanks, for I heartily memorize this poem at dawn, because my technique was to sing the poem with the tune, From Both Sides Now, hmm, I forgot the Singer...
This is Kerson Fruit or Alateris, we call this Mansanitas...fruit of a fast growing tree which
covered the mountains outskirts part of Mandaue City, now, Vera
States Subdivision.
My background are all Alateris Trees...
In every infrastructure projects, Geotechnical site investigation is the first activity. Upon arriving at the area, trees are proudly standing with birds chirping,. tall
green grasses and wild flowers grows side by side with dainty butterflies flying. At the swamp
happy frogs jumping, rainbow fishes gracefully swimming, goats and carabaos lazily eating grasses and other flying insects I could not
identify.
Then, here comes progress. Building must be built, so, all of
the above scenario, scraped by
a bulldozer and trees cut.
Most Subdivisions scrape whole mountains for housing projects.
Am just saddened with progress
for Trees must grow!
Just until here guys, thanks for taking time to read...
Manifesting Abundance
