The sense of hurry.
As if I am late for something.
I'm all tied up, with nowhere to go.
All the thoughts spinning around
No anchor point to be found
And I'm slowly losing ground
Under my feet.
Staring blankly out the window
People passing , people walking slow.
The light turns green from red to yellow
Your halfway there
But is there anyone to care?
About you... about you...
The road stops, tarmac turns to grass
You've been here before
The day is long and lazy
Spending your time, remember
to do the things you love
Where do you need to hurry?
You won't be late. Take the time
To turn around ,look around, and just see
You don't need much, just a warm heart
Close by.
