Friend (original poem)

in this minute moment,
who are we exactly,
in the larger scale of things?

in this minute moment,
life seems meaningless
but there must be
something more,
to life than this.

in this minute moment,
to help, to cherish, to understand
a friend, brings within himself,
the meaning of life

flower withers in time ,
but memory of a good friend
stays forever in the heart

so there you are my friend ,
locked deep down in my heart
i shall cherish our friendship
lest i shall wither away like a flower
