POEM FROM NO MAN’S SKY

Winter has come and the ground is white,
As frost sparkles where it lays,
Creatures hide from the chill of night,
And feel the nip of cold by day.

A tree stands bare, its leaves are shed,
Too little sunlight to feed upon,
They will return, or so it's said,
When once more the summer sun is shone.

The land is asleep ‘neath a blanket of snow,
The sky above is cold and blue,
But spring will come, new life will grow,
The cycle always begins anew.
