I waited and waited
For you to find me
You finally did and I was happy
But I wanted more

I found myself missing you
I never imagined being without you
And I started waiting again

I waited and waited
For hours
For days
But all I had was silence

And in the absence of your words
And the silence of your voice
I found my answer
That you were never mine.
