Queen In You

If it takes a lot of courage to tell you,
Then I would become the bravest for you to know,
Someone is hidden, concealed inside of you,
There is something that you have worthy, interesting to show.

Dear lady, you are a queen in the making.
You are a princess afraid of letting yourself into growing,
You try to box every inch of potential you have,
Thinking that it isn't you that people will favor and love.

So you decided to take off that glowing crown,
And chose to wear that stupefying frown.
You settled being the party's wall flower,
Rather than being that graceful, beautiful stunner.

Princess, have you forgotten or have you not known?
There is a queen in you, waiting to be shown.
Did anyone or anybody tell you?
There is a queen in you, waiting and hoping for the betterment of you.

You were born with the heavens' blessings,
You were raised with the people's brimming expectations.
Now it's your turn to hone the best of what were given to you,
It is now in your hands to become the potential queen in you.

So I am telling you this enthusiastically,
Stand up and always be ready.
Never let people blow your throne down,
Stand up and wear that brilliant crown.

And someday, you'll hear that thunderous praise.
Someday, you'll be in your rightful place.
Smile, look back and thank yourself then,
Because you became that thriving, splendid queen.
