Hope

Hope in the dark because that's all we have.
No glimmer of light but we tarry all the same.
My life is a journey of pain and love.
My faith is hinged on things above.

I look to the trees to trim their wisdom
To have and to hold and hopefully then some.
Life gives me freebies but only seldom
I'll tarry in the night and my proceeds, I sell them.

I hope my light shines and brightens the darkness
In the faint corners of the universe, I hear nothing
I'll search thoroughly to find my success
Its bleak and dreary but atleast it's something.

So let the night come and go slowly,
Let the evils dissipate to nothing
The day time comes, I wait patiently
For the sun to shine and I'll be winning
