Winters frail ego
Refuses to let anything go
She freezes everything into ice and into snow
She blankets summers bounty
Into a perfect white canvas of her own

She desires to create
To mess perfection up
Yet she refuses to tarnish
The land that she knows
To frightened to dance
To live for today
So she wait and wastes
The time so she has
Standing still
Paralyzed doubt
Instead waits for spring
To seize the dance,
A new beginning
A world renewed
Time wait for no man
