It was not what he had thought
The clown was a real person and not a bot
Yet the clock that he held made him believe
he was governed by one
one tick and one tock that is all that he had got
empty pockets and empty heart
yet a mind that went tick tock
thinking of the possibilities of
future and the past but in this
process of thinking of the future and
the past he got tired and felt lost
for he was the one who was missing out
on the moment that was the present one
with a desire that was like a burning amber
he stood up and looked in yonder
There stood his future and his past
and with a wicked smile they were mocking
his present and having a laugh
He got up and asked why you look-down upon me
and why you laugh
the past said I was once your present but you let me pass
the future is what what you make of the current moment
without worry for the future or the past
This made the clown realize
he got up and performed his act
to a loud cheer and a lot of claps
No wonder he had learned the value of time
what is present is all that is mine
so no point ponder on the past
what I make of the present is all that matters and
all that counts
