My first day at work
This poem goes to all my Ghanaian buddies starting their national service today.
It is that time of year that fresh graduate join the adult world, a new beginning. All dressed up and ready for work.
Some got their dream job, others might have deviated a bit but all the same we hope they get back on track.
It's that time of the year where lovers separate, there is sadness as well as happiness.
It's that time of the year where there is new passion and a new chase.
It's that time of the year where new opportunities come your way.
A new day and a new way.
Get ready for some buttering and jerk.
Hope you give your best shot today.
It's not like any other day, it's your first day at work
So all the best.!!!
