A week ago I extended an invitation to join us in a Hardcore Path of Exile race.
Players pick from 7 different character classes, and survive as long and far as they can. If their character is killed he's permanently dead, and the player needs to start over with somebody new.
It's intense, it's gripping and it just got strategic.
See, there's a 20 STEEM prize for the highest level character in each class, and another 20 STEEM for the highest level character overall, for a total of 8 x 20 STEEM prizes.
There's no limit to how many characters each player can have at a time; but with opportunity comes danger.
They need to closely watch each others' accounts to know where best to invest their finite (3 days) time.

This is our smallest field of competitors yet; which should make for some really fascinating decision making.
Any one of them could win big, or get too ambitious and lose entirely.
This is a whole different beast.
When this countdown timer gets to zero, 3 days from now, the race will be over and a new champion will be crowned.
Find those streaming using #poecomp as a tag, encourage them with an upvote or taunt them with some heckling.
I won't stop you. If I was a nice person, I wouldn't be putting them through this to begin with.

I'm really surprised that only 5 of us registered, but I think this will just make the mindgames even better :D I progressed pretty well so far, but I gotta get some sleep before continuing Act 3. ^^
I wanted to get a lil more sleep before I emerge to get started, but no lifing it starts soon! Sad to only see 5 of us this time around, but I may be able to play alternate classes now to have even more fun!
My lvl 10 died, luckily only that one. Got stuck in the mine on a box haha. But pretty much got that one back up, was off stream though while I leveled.

This is going to be interesting, everyone should be able to win some of the prize. I'm surprised to see such a small number of people after those epic two tournaments. Patch is still downloading.. and it is 11pm here in EU. I'll be able to play 2h and then drop dead, or should I go and make some coffee? Questions questions.
I've been hoping for a poorly populated game since we adopted the current format.
Far more interesting than having a whole heap of guys playing.

Gamers do enjoy it but dont come near when it is writing because @inspiredgideon1 will be right there with his pen to tell you that pen are powerful than pads

I don't know. Wouldn't hurt to try. You won't be eligible to enter my race; because it's already started, but I encourage you to download the game and give it some play time. It's all free, so if it doesn't work, you've lost nothing but time.

You're welcome to download and play the game, but my races start when the league starts; with all players able to see all other player's account names.
Get some practice in; follow the #poecomp tag to see how it all goes, and join the fray 3 months from now when the next league launches :)
