@pacetti50, I appreciate your opinion. With that being said there has actually been some forms of racism on t he chain, hence why we are having a open discussion about it. Now if it turns out that there is no problem at all then it will be rubbish, but if there is substance then the conversation will carry on and I hope in a respectful way.

okay, fair enough. From the reaction to your comment, you may have noticed that some community has formed here. You can be part of it as people get to know you but you likely want people to see a positive side to you even if you have a controversial stand on some topics.
So, what do you need to know?
The community is great here from what I have seen today it is better than Facebook which feels like I am being sold to all the time not just companies but people I know putting up a fake picture of them selfs living pretend live on screen , did use the wrong word on the first post it is not rubbish but more divisive , don't really understand stand how ££ are made but also am not trying to make any thing either is more having a fresh platform were I see all the great the world has to offer without all the fake ness thanks for the chat and sorry if I came across rude earlier
well, commenting on posts is a good thing as people do start to get to know you. You can earn when people upvote your comments depending how much voting power they have. You can also learn when you write a post and people upvote that, again based on how much voting power they have. The greater the voting power, the greater the upvote can be worth.
Your best bet is to write about what matters to you, communicate with others and focus on having some fun.
You might want to join the PAL discord server... actually there are a lot of discord servers related to Steemit. PAL is a minnow support community

This should be an interesting conversation. I haven't witnessed any racism here on steemit. There shouldn't be any place for it in the blockchain. It seems most people are welcoming regardless of nationality or color.
racisim will always be around and the block chain is no exception.
Stupid people will be stupid and that is their right. if they want to be racist they should have the right just like we have the right to call them stupid.
So yes there will always be racisim on the blockchain and to try to stop it by way of censorship is wrong.
Censorship of others should be the topic not what topics are on the blockchain but that's just my crappy opinon.
I'll be talking about censorship soon, I just don't have a line up people who have experienced it who want to talk openly about it on discord.
Its hard to find them because they are constantly getting flagged and dropped into the negative. lol
Easy way to find people going through it is to go look at the one flaggers comments and you will find a couple people a day dealing with it.

be careful how you go about it as you don't want to end up becoming censored for talking about it.
Oh also, the second someone pulls the "well it cant get removed from the blockchain so their is no censorship" please pull out the fact that censorship is the obstruction of information so even if it is still on the blockchain and cant be removed it can still be censored. when someone has been shadow banned on twitter the posts they make are still on twitter they just don't show up in feeds, just like steemit, so when someone plays that game they are either ignorant of what censorship is or they are playing ignorant.
