The gals are back with a bang this week chatting mystery substances and the need for NCIS. How to fix a badmouthing coworker?...Let the ladies of tit2 iron them out. Pretty sure we all realize now that no one should have Double D's name in their mouth. Move along haters, move along. Is there a scent of youth? There sure is...it's called being 18.

Hi from the studio!

We've gotten our 62nd episode up and going. The remote recording is getting easier for us which is great! We are hoping that this will allow us to record at a more consistent rate and can bring even more tit2 (that's what we affectionately call our show) to the airwaves.

Lag Time

We had been trying an audio mixer that recorded both of our tracks and then mixed them down together, but we found that our different internet speeds caused a bit of a lag. It made sound like we were laughing in the wrong spots or disagreeing before things were even said. @agbaba and I haven't been able to figure out how to correct that, so we are back to recording our tracks independently and mixing them in GarageBand. With the discovery of the electronic count in we think that we've been able to eliminate a lot of the lag. I'm still doing some editing to get rid of any hiccups we do have, but it's fewer and far between. If anyone has any knowledge about internet speeds or eliminating lag let us know! We'd love to hear what others have done to correct that.

What's next?

@agbaba is off at Comic-Com this week so we won't get another new episode up until next week. Hoping to have it up on Wednesday or Thursday. We'd like to thank some fellow steemers @disarrangedjane and @globocop for listening to our previous show and giving us some encouragement. We also had a request for a topic that we will try and conquer on our next show. For those of you that are just finding us now, we'd love to hear your opinions - good, bad or indifferent. And if you have any thoughts on topics let us know!

As always, thanks for listening!

Go galz! Looking fwd to the next one!
😎

PS:// Much interested in the lag issue, too!

We appreciate your support! The lag is so annoying. Sometimes you don't notice it and other times it's so bizarre you can't help but laugh. Not sure if a dedicated internet line would cut it down but it seems like there should be an easier solution!

Any shared service will always be subject to shared bandwidth. I am not sure if a dedicated line would fix.

I keep my ears peeled. Wait - that doesn't sound right...

Happy Weekend galz,

Wondering what Operating systems you're using?
Windown/Mac/Linux?
-ch @globocop

Hello! We are both using Mac (the most current operating system available for our Macs)

Happy Sunday!
Good news you're not on that other OS...

Although I have installed this, I have not tested yet.
NICECAST WEB

This, coupled with LoopBack may do the job?

Loopback is an audio mapper. Much like a hard wired mixer. It allows to create input and output channels at will.

For example, create an input channel for Mic+iTunes+Skype+ and an output channel for Live-Broadcast...

Why not check it out and see if this, together with Skype 'call-in' will cut down post production?

Thanks so much for this!!!! We used Zencaster before. I'll share this with @agbaba as she's really our "minister of technology". This is very interesting thank you

Fun - stuff, especially with the audio mapper.
Please do let me know how you're getting on. 🔘

May the force be with you!
