Give the Little Man a Hand: Episode 224

On William DeVaughn’s record he reminds us to “give the little man a great big hand” - to notice, respect and congratulate the people in service roles, waiting on tables, cleaning our streets, making food for us.

People might work so hard for us, and often they are so humble or professional, we might have no idea the level of dedication that they apply, working behind the scenes to find a solution for us.

We can all find ways to recognize those people who make the world go around, referring to them kindly, perhaps even by name, or complimenting them for the things they do that make our lives easier.
