Idea pitch; 1M POCKET Mega Jackpot
1Million POCKET, 100 contestants, 1 prize!
For now it's just an idea, but an idea that can make you POCKET millionaire.
How?
First you've got to upvote the post
The idea is that every player sends 10k+1 POCKET to the jackpot, you can pick your own number and see which numbers are available.
Multiple entry's are allowed.
When the jackpot is filled (100 lots sold, 1M POCKET) a single winner will be drawn using the @steemdice system for transparancy.
The winner will be the recipient of a whopping 1 M POCKET.
Why the 10k+1 POCKET?
The 10k is for the jackpot.
The +1 is therefore that in case of not enough participants after 7 days you get your 10k refunded to you.
If you like this idea, upvote this post and/or make a comment how you think about this game or want to see things improved.

If you do this, before it starts, make sure to establish a provably random method for picking the winner!
I was thinking about making a single bet on steemdice. Result can be traced back and is visibke for everybody on the wallet

STOPI agree with @biophil that there should be a provable method. And, some people like to pick their own numbers.
Someone used to do a free steem lottery that was based on the results of a state lottery.
All claimers are already millionaires!
Ok, but that will require a little programming so people can see which numbers already are taken (10*10 block with marked numbers). I really want to make it easy and comfortable for people.
You're right,all claimers are/were millionaire, but how about the "newbie's" and non-claimers? They can get POCKET through give-aways and free bet offers by some people. This could be their ultimate chance to join the POCKET millionaire family.

Yes. I think anytime you pay 2 play a contest or game there should be a guaranteed winner.

Great idea. Could substitute x amount of SBD for those that dont have pocket. They can buy entry with SBD to win pocket and if they lose then winner gets that SBD. Would help fill the 100 spots quicker as well. @PocketBook would help as a sponser! Just need a price per 10k pocket as equal entry fee. .5 SBD? Sounds good to me. Even say 1 entry per pay type. Encourage dual use of Pocket and Steem Dollars!! Let me know what u think.
Sounds good, but how to determine te right POCKET/SBD value. Too high and the SBD winners get disappointed, too low and the POCKET users are disappointed.
But yoir right, dual pay systrm could be te way to go and make POCKET even greater.
We set it off of recent auctions plus 10%?
Would be a small easy math problem.
Even if its a little more than at auction we would sell smaller amounts 1SBD up to whatever you want to sell. Just keep it at that price we agree on as a group until we or the market increase or decrease it.
1SBD=20k pocket would equal 5SBD per 100k.
Thats what others have been getting at auctions. We can then try and buy bulk at auction for cheaper possibly or we drop it a little to 15-17k per 1SBD. We keep talking well figure it out!!
