After traveling at only 8 knots from Lake Union my captain an I arrived at the end of the hood canal. One of many salt waterways in this mountainous region! Very exciting journey, after crossing south of the hood canal bridge we were approaching incredible views of our Olympic mountains. So close it was almost as if I could reach out and touch the snow! Very cool trip. 12/27/17
