Operation CareKit Detroit: Winter Homeless Survival Kit Drive

Tonight Operation Care Kit Detroit is out delivering.

It was not all fruit cake and nog. Their day started about 12 hours later than they planned for.

Let’s just say they had a tough time with their rental van.

Along with more than 100 carekits the team is out sharing a lot of love from their tireless leader Dior Gabrielle.

Never too late to help.

CARE KIT CONTENTS (most items travel-size for portability):

Hat, Gloves, Hand/foot warmers

Thermal blanket, Socks, Undergarments

Washcloths, Soap (organic), Shampoo (organic)

Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Floss

Raw African Shea Butter, Deodorant, Lipbalm

Alcohol wipes, Burn gel, Sunscreen

Kleenex, Comb, Grooming set

Band-aids, Triple antibiotic ointment, Medical gauze

Fever reducer, Antacid,Vitamin C pack, Cough drops

Water bottle(s), Snacks (healthy assorted)

Feminine hygiene products

Sewing kit

Quarters (bus fare, laundry, phone, etc.)
