PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Review, The Minimum and Recommended System Requirements

in #playerunknowns7 years ago

Representatives of battle royale shooters have gained a large number of fans thanks to simple design and extreme catching up in recent years. The most prominent player in this type of game is apparently published by Korean publisher Bluehole PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, which has earned more than twenty million players over the course of several months. In our review we will outline how it is played and whether it is worthwhile to put your savings into it.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is a multiplayer online battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation

What do you know about PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

PUBG did not warm up in the preliminary approach
The current game scene wishes above all the creators who release their works under the preliminary approach, where they can try them out in an early stage of development. The authors of these games often argue that they want to involve a community of opinion at a certain price to work on their project. Unfortunately, reality is a bit different. After selecting decent financial amounts, they often retreat and the voices of contributors waiting for the release date react only minimally or at all. Only a small piece of Early Access will be able to leave it. I really expected a similar scenario with PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds online action. In the end, however, I did, like many others.

Korean developers Bluehole apparently wanted to avoid problems with competing works (DayZ, H1Z1, The Culling), and so they entered Early Access with a more or less finished title, which had to be fine tuned mainly on a technical level. It did not last for twelve months in the final. I honestly think that if they waited a month or two with the release of the final version, it would not hurt anything. The whole would only benefit, because its technical side is not something that PUBG authors could boast. I will focus on this issue in more detail in a review.

Who Will Survive: PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
The current version of PUBG will offer TPS (third-person) and FPS (first-person) mode and two differently designed battlefields. The first place where hundreds of players will be played is the imaginary island of the Black Sea Erangel, which has been abandoned since the rebel attack on the Soviet military base and the local biological laboratory. In his exploration, you will be able to visit the forgotten cities, broken nuclear power plants, the speed of evacuated army facilities, or the guts of muddy farms that their inhabitants have long since abandoned. The whole location reminds me a lot of the imagined post-Soviet country Chernarus, where the famous survival project DayZ takes place.

The second location to visit is Miramar's mexico-tuned area set in the desert. The primary point of this map is the relatively large town of Los Leones, where often larger groups of players encounter. If you want to survive for more than a few minutes, you will not be left to avoid the streets of the abandoned city initially and to explore the construction sites, harbors, prisons and various residential structures lying in a wasteland whose visual processing is not bad at all. Both currently available war zones will give you an extremely extensive territory, where you will be able to move from the jump to your death (whose victory). In time, we should be able to experience test sites and a hub located in Europe.

At the beginning of each PUBG round, all participants are picked up on a small slice where they have the chance to test their weapons and shout in the microphone. After filling up the state, hundreds of unspokens are seated in a transport aircraft, from which they can jump up at any time during the fly over the war zone. At the moment when he leaves his heart, a struggle for life begins for them. Immediately upon reaching the Earth's surface, they plunge into the buildings, search for supplies, and begin to kill each other. During the first five to seven minutes, the initial number of survivors shrinks by half. This group of fifty members will eventually come up with an individual who, thanks to his above-average combat and observation skills (or extraordinary luck) will be able to make his way to the final, which after a number of challenging situations will come out as the absolute winner of the PUBG match.

The winner of most matches is PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds who are capable of quick thinking and long-term planning, who carefully select positions that will move in the next few minutes using the available means of transport (cars, motorbikes, boats). Permanent movement is necessary, especially due to the slowly shrinking electric barrier surrounding the battlefield, occasional artillery attacks, and falling supplies that contain the best possible equipment.

By collecting cans in PUBG, you will not be bothered by anyone
The Culling and H1Z1 players are sure to remember the individuals who have been constantly groping up surplus supplies and various nonsense items to keep their bags in their bags, which could hardly help them in the fight. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is fortunately more or less exempt from these things. Potential collectors can find only a very limited number of first-aid kits, dressings, gasoline canisters, painkillers, adrenaline injections, and energy drinks that temporarily provide for the regeneration of lives. A limited range of foods in some way forces chocolate chocolate seekers to fill their storage space with only the really needed equipment.

Unlike a variety of utility items, the choice of weapons is really varied. You can find shotguns, bows, pistols, submachine guns, snap rifles, sniper rifles, light machine guns, explosives and contact deadly toys that you will use especially when the opponent gets too close to you or when all ammunition comes on both sides. In addition to a relatively comprehensive range of weapons, various parts that increase gauge, stack size, accuracy, or significantly reduce the noise level of shooting can be found in trunks and abandoned houses. Each weapon extension can only be mounted on a particular item, which means practically means that you do not assume the need for a P92 to AWM.

Shoot first, then ask
Weapons, food, munitions and vests will be found primarily in military bases and densely built cities. When searching out abandoned residential buildings and warehouses, you must be constantly alert, and you can never know who is waiting for you in their bowels. The PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Community is a lot of action. Most of her members first shoot and then ask. There are exceptions from time to time, but there are not many. But you can also be glad for them because this game very quickly changes the mentality of the participants. Personally, when playing solo, I only encountered a couple of diplomatically tuned opponents, which helped me to get to the very well-ranked position of the last survivor.

To be honest, I miss a little deeper sophistication of the social element that would allow players in the solo lobby to end the game with a randomly found ally. If you find a boyfriend at the moment and manage to survive to the end, you are forced to choose between the newly established friendship and the win. If there was a chance to form alliances on the fly, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds would move a lot in this direction at least in this direction. This is how we have a classic FPS / TPS model that aims to be a simple team (2-4 members) or a solo elimination of all players on the map, which unfortunately does not differ from other competing works.

Hurried developers from Bluehole Edition?
As I have already mention aboove, the PUBG technical site is not exactly tweaked twice. A bit of a hurried release by the creators apparently caused that the final version of their project still had a number of problematic elements that my colleague Jirka Fait referred to in his preview. As I was playing, I met a decent range of smaller bugs and a strangely functioning hit system.

The abusive presence of players abusing different support programs can also be ignored. Although they are actively struggling with their presence, you will occasionally encounter a person who, for example, uses a simple gun to kill one stroke in motion at a surprisingly long distance (200+ m) even though it should not really hit you. The real chance that this scammer's money will eradicate is probably not real. Perhaps Bluehole will be able to reduce the number in a few months to an acceptable minimum.

The PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, of course, besides these problematic features, we are also troubled by the inadequately optimized optimization, the state of which will be right for some players. But I myself stand for the fact that the significant drops of fps do not have anything to do in the game with a well-crafted technical page. To be honest, under certain circumstances, I would be willing to tolerate minor outages, but in this case, the game would have a slightly better-looking visual, which would be able to defend a higher HW difficulty or occasional breakdown.

PUBG is not for everyone
Although there are currently a huge number of players around PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, it is certainly not possible to say that this community is an adorable online event for everyone. In fact, it is a very specific title whose creators have effectively combined the elements of the works that were long before him. We can find some aspects of DayZ, H1Z1, The Culling and many others. However, most of the competitor's pieces differ fundamentally. Its creators managed to push the development despite a number of difficulties, to the end, for which the tribute belongs. Unfortunately, in the final stages of their work, they have forgotten to fine-tune the technical side of their project, the condition of which is so miserable that I would not be afraid to assign it to a game in a preliminary approach that is still waiting for its premiere.

If I had to create a list of oversized games on the wave of crowd mania, the PUGB would probably be on one of the first bars. The players who celebrate the Bluehole workshop practically do not move the genre they represent. Again, there are big battlefields, a good variety of weapons, an aggressive community, and a world struggling with various technical shortcomings. I can only recommend investing in this part, assuming you are a fan of similarly tuned online events, and you are willing to forgive some of those misconceptions.

The final version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds arrived on PC on December 20th. The Xbox One is only available in the preview version. This review was written for PUBG for PC.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. Large map
With the 8000m x 8000m folder make this game exciting and thrilling.

  2. Variations of gear and weapons
With up to 16 types of weapons, and gear, costume, various equipment that makes this game very varied.

  3. MMOFPS Genre
Genre that is very rarely used, the genre portray role with the first person shooter position, then this game will be a new model game in the community.

  4. Vehicles
In this game there are vehicles that you can ignore, making it easier for you to navigate the wide map.

  5. Train concentration
In this game we can train our concentration, because if playing seriously then we must listen to enemy step or even see the enemy in long distance.

And many others

Cons :-1:

Although this game has advantages. There are still shortcomings that I found from this game for example as follows:

  1. Melee weapons are almost useless
Most of the users of this game really regret that melee weapons or close range (like a hand blow) is very useless or no damage to the enemy.

  2. Repetitive games
Playerunknown's Battlegrounds Game is arguably a repetitive game like Dota. So some people are easily saturated with repeatable gameplay will feel bored quickly. If the game has an interesting map variation, players may feel addicted to playing again.

  3. Equipment
Due to its 8Km width and so realistic graphics, this game can only be played by high-specification PCs.

CONCLUSION

I think Playerunknown's Battlegrounds game is perfect for those of you who like to play games of Survival and Adventure style. And this game is very suitable to play with your friends.
