Groundnut vine, the Chinese name, is a perennial deciduous creeping shrub of Ficus groundnut, family Moraceae. The whole plant has latex. Stem cylindrical or slightly flat, brownish, much-branched, nodes slightly expanded, touching the ground with slender adventitious roots.
