Dendrobium: One of my Favorite Orchids

Dendrobium is a diverse genus of orchids with different cultural needs. It is a huge genus which is established on 1799 and today it contains about 1200 species.
Dendrobium means one who lives on trees. They have adapted to a wide variety of habitats from high altitude mountains to lowland tropical forests and even to dry climate.
