Money Plants (Scindapsus aureus)

Money plant is a beautiful ,green leafy indoor plant,many people call it as " A plant to become rich".
Its leaves stay greener more than other plant's leaves.

It is believed that having money plant at home bring good luck,happiness,wealth and prosperity .
Vastu experts say,plants activate positive energy in our day today lives. They recommend planting money plants inside the house as they bring good luck.

Feng Shui principles regard money plant as one of the best plants to purify air polluted with synthetic chemicals from furniture and cleaning material solutions. It energizes the home by filtering air and increasing oxygen inflow.

Money plant is also known by many other names such as golden pothos ,silver vine, devil's vine,hunter's robe etc.

Money plants are ever green climbers ,that can grow up to 20 m high,requiring no extensive care.They are very easy to grow in soil and water filled bottles ,jars and any container.

It can grow in both direct and indirect sunlight.However,too much direct sunlight can turn the leaves yellow and even burn them.
Money plants do not need regular pruning ,but you can trim them to shape the plant and remove damaged or yellow leaves.

I have used pvc pipes and old tube lights ,which are covered with coir ropes ,to support the plants.All my plants are kept in the shade, but there is enough light.
