Mayana Plant

When I was about to go to my mother’s home, I saw this Mayana Plant or Coleus Acuminatus Benth along the pavement.

It’s vibrant colors stands out under the sunny sky. That is why, it attracts me and took a picture of it.

For folkloric belief, this plant has a lot of uses, most especially for alternative medicines.

Its leaves is very useful compared to other parts of the plant.

It cures for minor bruises, sprains, boils, and other minor ailments.

This plant is very common in the neighborhood, since it is also classified as ornamental plant too.
