PAKU

Paku plants are different from other plants that grow directly from seeds. Paku plants grow from spores.

Paku plants vary in size from about two cm high, for example in pak plants that live floating on the surface of the water, up to a paku plant on land that can reach a height of five meters, for example spikes (Sphaeropteris). Ancient paku plants that have become fossils are estimated to reach a height of 15 meters.
The form of paku plants that live today vary, there are shaped sheets, shrubs or trees, and like deer antlers.

Paku plant consists of two generations, namely: 1.generasi saprofit
2.generation of gametophytes.
This generation of sporophytes and gametophyte generation grows alternately in the life cycle of nail plants.
Sporophyte generation is a plant that produces spores.
While gametophyte generation is a generating plant that produces gametes (sex cells).
