The Airbus A 380


The biggest passenger aircraft in the world is the Airbus A 380 and only 18 customers ordered 331 of these aircraft worldwide. Emirates Airline is the biggest customer of the Airbus A 380 with 162 ordered and 102 delivered. The first Airbus A 380 was delivered to Singapore Airlines on 15 October 2007. This aircraft can be configured with 525 seats with first class seats or 853 economy only seats. In Europe only Lufthansa, British Airways and Air France have been the Airbus A 380 in service.

This picture was made at London Heathrow Airport. The Airbus A 380 needs a fuelstop to fly from Melbourne to London. Nowadays Qantas also flies nonstop from Sydney to London with the Boeing 787.

Singapore Airlines was the first airliner to start flying the Airbus A 380. Nowadays they fly a fleet of 18 Airbus A 380 to London, Frankfurt and Zurich.

Last, but not least, here is the Airbus A 380 from Lufthansa. At Frankfurt Airport you can see all 14 of the Airbus A 380 of Lufthansa. Nowadays they also fly from Munich Airport.
