A coming and going

Throughout the afternoon there was constant traffic on the ground and in the air. The next squadron of two Eurofighters gets ready. We see the first on the taxiway roll towards the runway. The flickering of the air makes the plane slightly out of focus, the smell of kerosene penetrates all the way to us.

Ein Kommen und Gehen

Den ganzen Nachmittag über herrschte ständiger Verkehr am Boden und in der Luft. Die nächste Staffel aus zwei Eurofightern macht sich bereit. Wir sehen den ersten auf dem Taxiway in Richtung Runway rollen. Das Flimmern der Luft läßt das Flugzeug leicht unscharf werden, der Geruch von Kerosin dringt bis zu uns herüber.
