I think this is a brilliant artist!
Remember that art is very much in the eye of the beholder - you see what you expect to see, what your mind makes it out to be.
Where you see monsters I see lovely creatures straight from my childhood fairytales. Some of them are clearly inspired by puppet designer extraordinarie Jim Henson (of The Muppets Fame) and some are very influenced by old world folk lore.
