Alefantis Accused of Comet Ping Pong being a "haven for rape and murder" in 2008 Update: Supporter tied to Silsby

Update a researcher on Voat realized the man who gave his address is directly tied to Silsby. "If you download and listen to the audio recordings for the meeting about Comet Ping Pong operating post-midnight, the one where Frank Winstead called out Alefantis for potentially soliciting "rapes and murders", there's a man that stands up to threaten Frank Winstead to say "I will personally take anyone who opposes this down" (31:40). His name is Michael Maccoby, and he's the head of the Maccoby Group. We know this because he said his address, "4825 Linnean Ave", which is the exact same address as the one listed on the Maccoby Group website. He's the father of Izette Folger (very close friends with Alefantis, also on the board for Transformer DC), Nora Maccoby and Max Maccoby. He lives very close to Comet Ping Pong, and it's a wonder why this man was so vehement about Comet Ping Pong operating after midnight.
Apart from being part of an elite Washington club, Cosmos Club, there was one thing that struck me as weird in this guys biography. He coaches leaders at Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos, homes for orphaned and abandoned children, an orphanage in Mexico, Honduras, Haiti, Nicaragua, Guatemala, ElSalvador, the Dominican Republic, Bolivia and Peru. So here we have Haiti again."
Update: I finally listened to the recordings. One of the Commissioners says that Comet Ping Pong violated their agreement with DC and was having live music, showing videos, ping pong tables, and has stayed open later than they were allowed since 2006. This meeting was to allow Comet to have live music, show videos, have ping pong tables, and stay open past 11:00 PM specifically to 3:00 AM. Another Commissioner was really upset because Comet has been in violation of their previous agreement with DC. She said she wants to rip up the agreement because Alefantis has violated all of it. Essentially he is a lawbreaker.

Alefantis was asking to extend the hours of Comet Ping Pong. Alefantis filled the meeting with his peeps to drown out the Commissioner. This meeting was held on June 16, 2008.

During the course of the meeting, Winstead accused Comet owner James Alefantis of lying, cheating, stealing, spitting in a customers food, and encouraging both murderers and rapists.
"He said rape," confirms fellow ANC3F commissioner Mital Gandhi. "R-A-P-E. Rape."
Says Alefantis, "Frank Winstead was completely and totally unprofessional, incredibly rude, and a little wacky. He was yelling and screaming and wagging his finger at everyone."

Big surprise Winston was defeated in the next Commissioner race.

As you may recall, earlier this year Winstead launched a crusade against Comet Ping Pong, the beloved pizza joint in Upper Northwest that set itself apart by having ping pong tables both inside and outside. Comet has survived, Winstead has not."

Some other people on voat had found this previously. I do think youtubers should add this. I mean here was someone in 2008 saying Comet Ping Pong a haven of rape and murder. Mr Winstead knew something other than just pizza and ping pong were going on at Comet Pizza.
