Onsa: Frozen pizza that goes against health standards
The National Office for the Health Safety of Food Products (ONSA) has decided to strengthen the control of Fresh App pizza branded "Biotoni" at import and at border checkpoints.
ONSA of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Village Development, Water and Forestry, in its interaction with the Hespress question on the containment of pizzas harmful to children and their withdrawal from European countries, added that the pizzas produced between June last year and March 28 did not meet health standards and would be withdrawn and destroyed.
It is expected that the aforementioned office, which will monitor the implementation of the Government's policy on the health safety of plants, animals and food products from raw materials to the final consumer, will proceed with its investigation at all points of sale and distribution.
