On August 13, at 1 PM ET, the Made by Google 2024 showcase will take place. You can watch it above or watch it live on the Made by Google YouTube channel. We already know quite a bit about what the business will disclose. Here on Engadget, we'll provide comprehensive and in-depth coverage of all the announcements made during the Google Pixel 9 launch event.
It has already been revealed by Google that it will showcase the most recent Pixel smartphone lineup. Four models are anticipated, with the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 XL being the ones with the noticeable camera bar on the back. Google's most recent foldable is also getting a new name. The smartphone is referred to as the Pixel 9 Pro Fold instead of the Pixel Fold 2. All of these phones will have the Gemini AI assistant integrated throughout, as part of Google's effort to increase productivity and simplify photo editing.

There are further reports that Google is going to unveil the Pixel Watch 3, which is anticipated to come in two sizes. We're probably going to see the Pixel Buds 2 as well.
It appears that Google intends to maintain the spotlight on Pixel products, as seen by the company's announcement of a new TV streaming box and Nest Learning Thermostat just one week prior to the event. Nevertheless, there's always a potential for a few real surprises. In any case, there will be a "after party" event beginning at 2:30 PM ET.
