PIVX SHIELD Testnet Wallet has been Released - Hard Fork Imminent!

This pre-5.0 test release includes our new SHIELD protocol that provides the ability to both send and receive shielded transactions that fully protect your transaction data over the blockchain.

SHIELD also sports some unique enhancements such as multi-note shielded spending, as well as including a full byte encrypted memo functionality in the Qt wallet that allows sending shielded messages in any format over the blockchain along with the shielded transaction.

We encourage everyone to try out this test release and will be greatly appreciated if any issues seen are reported either in the pivx_testnet channel of our Discord, or directly on PIVX GitHub.

Hard Fork on testnet to activate SHIELD will occur at block height 1873550 (approx. Dec. 9th 20:00 GMT)
