PitchPerfect Week #59 "Mi canto es distancia" (Cover)
One of the singers who left a deep impression on me, with her voice and her attitude, was the Argentine Mercedes Sosa. She was part of the voices that made me know the sound of Latin America, and one of those is the zamba, rhythm and feeling of that southern country.
Today I bring you "My song is distance" a zamba written by Rafael Paeta and Óscar Matus in 1966, which I met in the voice of the woman who received the title of La Voz de América Latina (the voice of Latin America), Mercedes Sosa.
Una de las cantantes que dejó una profunda huella en mí, con su voz y su actitud, fue la argentina Mercedes Sosa. Ella formó parte de las voces que me hicieron conocer el sonido de América Latina, y uno de esos es la zamba, ritmo y sentimiento de ese país sureño.
Hoy les traigo "Mi canto es distancia" una zamba escrita por Rafael Paeta y Óscar Matus en 1966, la cual conocí en la voz de la mujer que recibió el título de La Voz de América Latina, Mercedes Sosa.
