Aunque soy rockero, por gusto y por convicción, debo decir que disfruto inmensamente tocar y cantar las canciones de mi infancia; las que escuchaba papá en el porche de la casa, las que mamá cantaba mientras cosía vestidos para mi hermana. Mi soundtrack infantil es extenso pero muy poco asociado al mundo del rock, salvo por los cassettes de "chatarritas" con los que conocí éxitos de Beatles, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Led zeppelin, los Rolling Stone, entre otras. En casa se escuchaba mucha Salsa y, por ende, se me aparecen solas en la guitarra. Reclaman ser tocadas.
Although I am a rocker, out of pleasure and conviction, I must say that I enjoy immensely playing and singing the songs of my childhood; the ones Dad used to listen to on the porch of the house, the ones that Mama sang while sewing dresses for my sister.
